A call to servanthood & generosity
Be The Love is the community outreach arm of LMC that allows us the opportunity as a church family to show the love of Christ in a practical hands on way. We get to serve our local community through generosity, acts of kindness, and good works.
We support both individuals and community based organisations through making meals, working bees, collecting pantry food items and much more!
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
– Hebrews 10:24-25
BE THE LOVE MONTH
October is Be the Love Month at LMC, where we set aside the whole month to give to, pray for, and serve, our local community.
GIVE
Sunday 13th October
We will be taking up an offering to help fund Serve Day projects at our 10am Service on Sunday 13th October, however you can give throughout the month.
You give in person via cash or card, or online via direct deposit.
PRAY
Sunday 20th October
We come together as a church family to spend time in prayer ahead of Serve Day. We pray for our teams, our volunteers, the projects, and most importantly, for those who are on the receiving end, that they might know and encounter the love of Jesus. Of course you don’t have to wait until then. Start praying now!
