Graham encouraged us prior to this announcement to make Jesus the Lord of our lives. There can be a number of reasons why we don’t obey our Lord Jesus. He said, “Why do you call me lord lord and not do what I tell you?” We cannot say we are close with Jesus, but fail to obey his commands. Obedience is not hard when we trust Jesus, when we know he has our heart, take self off the throne and make him Lord of our lives.
